Kariyan is a product of Gajera IT Solutions.

1. Service Description

Kariyan is a job application service designed for professionals seeking employment in Germany. The service helps with job discovery, prepares CVs and cover letters, and supports application submission to matching job postings on your behalf.

By creating an account and using Kariyan, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Scope

Kariyan is a young service under active development. This means:

• Features may change, be added, or be removed as the product evolves
• You may occasionally experience bugs, downtime, or unexpected behavior
• Generated content (CVs, cover letters, emails) should be reviewed carefully before use. Output quality is improving but not guaranteed
• We may modify or discontinue individual features at any time

By using Kariyan, you acknowledge these characteristics and agree that the service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We welcome your feedback at hello@kariyan.de. It directly shapes the product.

We will notify existing users in advance of material changes to these terms or to pricing.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to seek employment to use Kariyan. The service is intended for individuals, not recruitment agencies or employers posting jobs.

4. Your Responsibilities

• Accurate information: You must provide truthful and accurate profile data. Kariyan uses this data to generate application documents sent to real employers on your behalf.
• Review before sending: When using manual or approval mode, you are responsible for reviewing and approving application documents before they are sent.
• Account security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Compliance: You may only use Kariyan for lawful job-seeking purposes. You must not use the service to apply for positions you are not genuinely interested in or legally permitted to hold.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You must not:

• Use Kariyan to submit fraudulent, misleading, or fabricated application documents
• Impersonate another person or use false identity information
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform's API
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the service beyond its intended functionality
• Use the service to send spam or unsolicited bulk emails to employers

Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination without refund.

6. Generated Content Disclaimer

Kariyan uses language models to prepare CVs, cover letters, and application emails. All such processing is performed within the European Union. Your data is not used to train or improve third-party models through Kariyan. While we apply quality checks, generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated content before it is submitted to employers.

Kariyan does not guarantee job interview invitations, employment offers, or any specific outcome from using the service.

7. Automated Form Submission

Kariyan may use browser automation to fill and submit job application forms on external employer websites on your behalf. This feature is best-effort: forms vary widely across employers and platforms, and some may not be fully supported (e.g., CAPTCHA-protected or login-gated forms). You are responsible for verifying that applications submitted via automated form filling are complete and accurate.

When automated submission cannot be completed, Kariyan will flag the application for your manual review with a screenshot and the application URL.

8. Profile Photo

You may optionally upload a profile photo for use in CV documents. By uploading a photo, you confirm that you have the right to use the image and that it is appropriate for professional use. Photos are stored securely and can be deleted at any time from your Settings page.

9. Subscription and Billing

9.1 Plans and Pricing

Kariyan offers four plans: Free Preview (0 €), Starter (29 €/month), Pro (49 €/month), and Elite (99 €/month). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your Settings page. Upgrades take effect immediately and the price difference for the remainder of the current billing period is charged pro rata. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

9.2 What Is Included Per Application

Each application uses one count from your monthly application allowance and includes:

• One tailored CV generated for the specific job posting
• One tailored cover letter generated for the specific job posting
• Submission of the application to the employer on your behalf

9.3 Fair Use: Document Regeneration

Before an application is sent, you may regenerate the CV or cover letter to refine the output. Regenerations for the same job do not consume an additional application from your monthly allowance, subject to the following per-job regeneration limits:

• Free: up to 3 regenerations per job
• Starter: up to 5 regenerations per job
• Pro: up to 5 regenerations per job
• Elite: up to 10 regenerations per job

Additionally, each plan includes a monthly generation budget: Free 15, Starter 90, Pro 350, and Elite 600 document generations per billing cycle. This budget covers all CV and cover letter generations across all jobs in a billing period. Both per-job and monthly generation limits reset at the start of each billing cycle.

9.4 Monthly Usage Limits

The following limits apply per billing cycle:

Automatic sending is a closed beta offered to a small group of users by invitation and is not part of any plan. Every application requires your approval before it is sent.

When a limit is reached, you will be notified in the application. Unused allowance does not roll over to the next billing cycle. You may upgrade mid-cycle to unlock additional capacity immediately.

9.5 Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact billing@kariyan.de within 14 days of a charge to request a refund.

9.6 Referral Program

We may offer a referral program that lets you invite others to Kariyan using a personal referral link or code.

• Both you and the person you refer receive 5 bonus job applications once the referred account verifies its email, uploads a CV, receives a job match, and submits its first application.
• Referral rewards are limited to 10 rewarded referrals per referrer per calendar month; referrals beyond this limit are queued for manual review rather than lost.
• Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, and referral codes attached more than 30 days after the referred account was created are not eligible for a reward.
• We may withhold, delay, or reverse a reward, and suspend a referral code, where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse.

Referral credits are added to your application allowance, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for money. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the referral program, or change its reward amounts, limits, or eligibility criteria, at any time; changes apply prospectively and do not affect rewards already granted.

10. Intellectual Property

The Kariyan platform, including its software, design, and supporting models, is the property of Gajera IT Solutions. Application documents prepared using your personal data are yours to use freely.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by German law, Gajera IT Solutions shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Kariyan, including but not limited to: loss of employment opportunities, decisions made by employers, or consequences of inaccurate generated content that was not reviewed before submission.

Our total liability in any matter arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 3 months preceding the claim.

12. Service Availability

Kariyan aims to maintain high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance, typically during off-peak hours (CET), and will provide advance notice when possible. We are not liable for temporary unavailability caused by maintenance, third-party service outages, or force majeure events.

13. Account Termination & Data Export

You may close your account at any time from your Settings page. Upon account deletion:

• Your personal data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law
• Generated documents (CVs, cover letters) will be permanently removed
• Payment records will be retained for 10 years as required by German commercial law (HGB §257)

You may request a machine-readable export of your personal data before closing your account by contacting privacy@kariyan.de. We will fulfill this request within 30 days.

Kariyan reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with reasonable notice where possible.

14. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute arising from or relating to these Terms:

1. We encourage you to first contact us at legal@kariyan.de to attempt informal resolution
2. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue legal remedies
3. The courts of Dresden, Germany shall have exclusive jurisdiction

Nothing in this section limits your right to file a complaint with a consumer protection authority or data protection supervisory authority.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.

16. Force Majeure

Kariyan shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet infrastructure failures, third-party service outages, or cyberattacks. We will make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact of such events and resume normal operations as soon as practicable.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dresden, Germany.

For consumers within the EU, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
